As part of its continuous efforts to support and encourage students, the College of Technical Engineering at University of Alkafeel organized a distinctive welcoming event for new students accepted into the Department of Computer Engineering Technology for the academic year 2024-2025, on Sunday 12/8/2024.

    The event aims to enhance the sense of belonging among new students, provide the necessary academic guidance, and motivate them to achieve academic excellence and creativity in their specialization, in line with the aspirations of the labor market.

    Asst.Prof.Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Amri, Dean of the College of Technical Engineering, received the new students in a friendly meeting with welcoming words and motivating instructions. The Dean expressed his happiness at the joining of an elite group of ambitious students to the college, and congratulated them on their choice of the Computer Engineering Technologyfield , pointing out its vital role in technological development and modern technical solutions.

    The Dean stressed the importance of combining theoretical knowledge and applied skills, and the need to work hard in the orbit of both study and scientific research. He also reviewed the academic system applied in the college (Bologna Path), praising the advanced infrastructure, modern laboratories, technological techniques provided by the university and the university commitment to the principles of sustainability by adopting clean energy sources.

   The meeting concluded with the Dean directing his instructions to the administrative cadres to ensure the provision of a stimulating and supportive academic environment for students, and providing all the necessary needs to enhance their specialized skills. He also called on the students to persevere and work hard, wishing them a university experience full of success and excellence.
