On Tuesday, 12/31/2024, the College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel organized a session : “Reference Management Using Mendeley”, under the supervision of the lect.Dr. Ahlam Hussein Hassan, in Al-Balagi Hall. The session aimed to develop the skills of the researchers in managing scientific references and enhance their ability to organize research effectively. The session covered several topics, most notably:
• How to build an integrated digital library.
• Importing and organizing references easily.
• Collaborating with colleagues in research projects.
• Automatically creating reference lists and citations using Mendeley.
In the session, Dr. Ahlam stressed that using Mendeley contributes greatly to simplifying the academic documentation process and improving the quality of scientific research through effective tools that facilitate the work of researchers. At the end of the session, the participants expressed their appreciation for the importance of the topic and expressed their interest in applying what they learned in their future research.
