Najaf - The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel organized, on Wednesday morning, 15/1/2025, a memorial session on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Zainab the Great (peace be upon her), in the presence of the Universitychancellor , Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan , the vice-chancellor for scientific affairs , Prof.Dr. Nawal Aid Al-Mayali, a number of deans, faculty members and the university personnel.

    The session started with a fragrant recitation from GloriousQuran presented by the reciter Sheikh. Qudamah Al-Khadri, from the Holy Quran Institute pertinent to Holy Al-AbbasShrine , Najaf Branch. Then, his eminence seid. Jaafar Al-Marouj delivered a valuable lecture in which he reviewed the fragrant chronicle of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her), highlighting her pivotal role in supporting Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) during the Karbala incident and the consequent events . His Eminence explained her effective role in conveying the message of the Husseini revolution to generations, highlighting her steadfastness and courage in the face of injustice, as she deservedly carried the title of "Mother of Calamities" for the pain and hardships she endured without breaking.

   Al-Marouj illustrated that Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) is an immortal symbol of the Islamic renaissance, and a pivotal figure who left a profound impact on Islamic history, as she represented the voice of truth that confronted injustice and became a source of inspiration for successive generations. The session concluded with a sincere supplication to Allah Almighty to protect the Islamic nation and grant everyone success in following the pathway of Ahlalbayt (peace be upon them), recalling the lessons of sacrifice and patience that Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) embodied in her life.
