On Saturday, 18/1/2025, the College of Medical and Health Technologies at University of Alkafeel organized a scientific symposium : "Pioneering Signs of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in Physics", as part of the activities of the Department of Anesthesia Technology, and in the presence of a number of professors and students specialized in medical and technical sciences.

The symposium aimed to shed light on some of the indications made by Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in the field of physics, which are considered pioneering achievements in presenting scientific concepts that have been lately proven by modern science.

    In the symposium, Prof.Dr. Ali Khalaf Hassan gave an academic lecture on how Imam Ali (peace be upon him) spoke about many natural and physical phenomena in his time, concepts that were not known at the time, and were later understood with the development of science and explained that the sayings of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) carry deep scientific indications related to the fields of physics, reflecting his accurate understanding of natural phenomena. These indications enhance the connection between religion and science, and deny the allegations that promote the idea of conflict between them : the Islamic heritage is one of the oldest and most important scientific sources that still contribute to the development of natural sciences in the modern era.
