University of Alkafeel organized a special celebration on the occasion of the fragrant birth anniversary of Commander of the Faithful Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), in the presence of the deans of the colleges , their assistants , the universityunits and students, on Monday 1/20/2025. This event falls within the remit of the university efforts to promote educational and spiritual values among its students, and was celebrated after the end of the mid-year vacation to ensure the attendance of the largest number of participants.

   The gathering, which was held in a prominent spiritual and cultural atmosphere, included a guiding speech delivered by Sheikh. Jaafar Al-Marouj, in which he focused on the importance of following the example of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in our daily lives, pointing to the moral and human values that the Imam represents. A reader and reciter from Holy Shrine of Imam Ali also participated with religious supplications and loyal chants, which sets the event so brilliant.

    On the margins of the celebration, a charity market was held, organized by the students, where they displayed their handicrafts and various products to encourage the spirit of creativity, teamwork, and develop the practical skills among students.

    In this regards , Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussam Ali Hassan Al-Obaidi, Director of the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at the University, stated that these activities aim to employ religious occasions to enhance educational and spiritual values among students, which contributes to developing their personalities scientifically and morally.
