Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, University of Alkafeel chancellor , accompanied by the Scientific Assistant Professor Dr. Nawal Al-Mayali, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy , Asst. Prof.Dr. Saad Mashkoor Walid, and the vice-dean for administrative affairs . Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Mayali, received a delegation from General Secretariat of Holy Al-AbbasShrine on Tuesday morning, 21/1/2025.

    The delegation included the Secretary-General of Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, seid. Mustafa Murtada Al-Dhia Al-Din, the head of the teaching and Higher Education commission at Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, Dr. Abbas Al-Moosawi, in addition to seid . Laith Al-Moussawi and Dr. Afdhal Al-Shami, members of Administration Board .

    At the beginning of the visit, seid. Mustafa Murtadha Al-Dia' Al-Din, Secretary-General of Holy Al-AbbasShrine, delivered a speech in which he expressed his pride in the distinguished achievements of Alkafeel University, praising the efforts made by the academic and administrative cadres at the university. He stressed the importance of sincere and serious work to achieve success, noting that success in this field is the result of sincerity to Allah and continuous work to serve the community. Seid. Al-Dhia Al-Din explained that Holy Al-Abbas Shrine always seeks to support educational institutions that contribute to raising the level of education in Iraq, stressing that Al-Kafeel University is one of the most prominent of these institutions.

    In this regard, Dr. Abbas Al-Moussawi, Head of Teaching and Higher Education Commission at Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, delivered a speech in which he praised the achievement made by the College of Pharmacy at Alkafeel University, describing it as an "unprecedented academic achievement." He stressed that the college was able to compete with prestigious government colleges and obtained full programmatic accreditation, to be the first private college in Iraq to achieve such a kind of success , and the second at the level of government colleges of pharmacy after the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad.Then he stated that this distinction reflects the vision and strategic mission of the university and its commitment to applying the highest international quality standards, stressing that this achievement enhances the leadership of Alkafeel University in the academic Iraqi scene.

    For his part, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, chancellor of Al-Kafeel University, expressed his happiness in welcoming the honorable delegation, extending his thanks to Holy Al-AbbasShrine for its continuous support to the university. He added that obtaining full program accreditation for five years is the result of the tireless efforts made by the college to complete all accreditation requirements. Dr. Al-Dahan also indicated that the delegation observed the facilities of the university and viewed the new buildings and qualitative additions that were established for the academic year 2024-2025, including the student club. He expressed his hope that the university would continue its distinguished path to achieve more academic achievements.

The visit concluded with an exchange of words of thanks and appreciation between the two sides, and an emphasis on continuing cooperation to achieve more successes in the future.
