Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan , University of Alkafeel chancellor , held an important meeting with the teaching staff in the presence of the deans of the colleges and their assistants. The meeting included discussing several prominent axes pertinent to developing academic work and enhancing the quality of education at the university, on Monday 2/3/2025.

      Dr. Al-Dahan began the meeting by congratulating the university family on the occasion of the blessed “ Shaaban births” , the births of imams , stressing the importance of drawing inspiration from noble values in the educational and teaching process.

     The meeting discussed the evaluation of the great success achieved by the  sixth international scientific conference of the university , which witnessed wide participation from various institutions and universities. Dr. Al-Dahan praised the efforts made by the teaching staff in making this prominent event a success.

     The meeting also touched on the importance of enhancing academic and ethical guidance for students, and directing the teaching staff to continue supporting students to achieve the best academic levels.

     The university chancellor urged the teaching staff to encourage students to participate in the fourth edition of the annual employment fair organized by the university, pointing to the diversity of expected participations from various companies and institutions. As part of future activities, Dr. Al-Dahan announced the upcoming event : fifth scientific student conference, inviting the students to submit their distinguished scientific contributions. In the context of appreciating the outstanding achievements, the university chancellor praised the efforts of the College of Pharmacy, which succeeded in obtaining full program accreditation, becoming the first private college in Iraq to achieve this achievement.

      Dr. Al-Dahan stressed the commitment of the university to the directives of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine , referring to the slogan "Alkafeel First", which reflects the ongoing morale to gain international standards and develop future plans to serve students and university members. At the end , Dr. Al-Dahan wished  success to all faculty members, laying emphasis on working as a team for the best achievements.
