The College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel celebrated the graduation of its fifth batch for the academic year 2024-2025, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, concurrent with the births of the “ Sha'banMuhammadan  moons” . The ceremony was attended by the universitychancellor , Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, vice-chancellor for scientific affairs, Asst. Prof.Dr. Saad Mashkoor Walid, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, scientific and administrative assistants, and teaching staff.

    The ceremony included various activities that began with the recitation of verses from Glorious Quran, and then the national anthem and the "Alaba", dignity, anthem were played . A short video was shown to highlight the sacrifices of the heroic mujahideen, and the poet Muhammad Al-Fatimi recited a poem appreciated by the attendees. The activities included drawing a painting of seid. Al-Sistani "May Allah prolong his life” by the artist Muhammad Amin, there was also the singing band of the Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine.

    The ceremony held the act of honoring of the professors and students . In a speech by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Saad Mashkoor Walid expressed his pride and appreciation for this new group of pharmacists, stressing their future role in serving the community and providing health care.

    In this regard, the university chancellor , Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, he confirmed that this version of the graduation ceremony was distinguished by the full accreditation the College of Pharmacy at Al-Kafeel University obtained from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for five years .It is worth mentioning that the college becomes the first college to achieve such a rank . He expressed his wishes for the graduates to have a bright future full of benevolence to serve their country. 

    A large number of parents shared the joy of their sons and daughters in this great achievement, as memorial photos were taken to document these special moments.

The university administration and the College of Pharmacy extended their warmest congratulations to the graduating students, wishing them further success and excellence in their professional lives.

    This ceremony represents an embodiment of the great efforts made by Al-Kafeel University and the College of Pharmacy in teaching students to be effective and scientifically and professionally qualified elements to serve the Iraqi community and advance the health sector.
