A group of students from the Medical Laboratory Techniques Department at the College of Medical and Health Technologies at University of Alkafeel University organized an awareness event on cancer, methods of prevention, and modern treatment methods, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, to spread health awareness and enhance medical culture between the students.

    The event was opened by Prof.Dr. Fadhel Ismail Sharad, Dean of the College of Medical and Health Technologies, in the presence of Lect.Dr. Zaman Abdul Hussein, Head of the Medical Laboratory Techniques Department, Prof. Dr. Aref Baron, Head of the Radiology Department, and a group of professors and faculty members.

    The students prepared awareness publications and presentations explaining the causes of cancer, methods of prevention, and the latest treatment methods. They provided detailed explanations to the attendees and answered their questions, which contributed to enhancing health awareness among students and faculty members.

   At the end of the event, Prof. Dr. Fadhel Ismail Sharad, Dean of the College, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the organizing students for their distinguished efforts in preparing and presenting the event, praising their acumen to spread health awareness and promote medical culture in the college. He also praised the interaction of students and faculty members, stressing the importance of such events in supporting health awareness and encouraging scientific research in the medical field.
