The Department of Radiology Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technology, University of Alkafeel , organized a scientific lecture for sophomore students in the laboratories on Wednesday 5/2/2025.
The lecture aimed to explain the mechanism of operation of radiological devices, while reviewing the appropriate technical settings for each type of examination to improve the performance of the students and enhance their practical knowledge. The radiation safety standards and the most important preventive measures were also highlighted to ensure the protection of patients during examinations.
The lecture included interactive discussions , practical applications of live examples and interpretation of radiological images to improve the ability of the students to analyze and evaluate scientifically.
This activity could be a way to fathom the efforts of the college to support applied education and develop their scientific competencies to qualify them with advanced skills that meet the needs of the labor market in the health sector.
