Swedish Delegation Visits University of Alkafeel : Praise for Its Educational Developments and Future Vision for Collaboration

  Prof.Dr. Nawras Mouhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, the University of Alkafeel chancer , received a delegation of Iraqi doctors residing in Sweden. The delegation included Dr. Mamdouh Al-Amiri, Dr. Muhammad Al-Haris, and Dr. Riyadh Al-Baldawi from Karolinska University in Sweden, on Monday 2/17/2025.

    The University chancellor welcomed the visiting delegation in the presence of Asst.Prof.Dr. Dr. Samer Makki Al-Hakak, Dean of the College of Medicine, assistants, and Asst.Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Khafaji, Dean of the College of Law. The President of the University expressed the University's welcome to the delegation, stressing that University of Alkafeel opens its doors to collaboration with all international institutions, within the framework of the directives of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine and its vision in supporting education.

    Dail-Dahan explained in his speech that the university always seeks to provide the best level of education to serve students, and it continues to expand its partnerships with international universities. The delegation then toured the campus, where they viewed the modern halls and laboratories.

   For his part, Dr. Mamdouh Al-Amiri, a thoracic surgery consultant at Karolinska Hospital, praised the level of progress achieved by University of Alkafeel . He said: "The university surprised us with the development we witnessed, and I believe that what we have observed here is not even found in some European universities. We are happy to provide this modern environment for students, and we look forward to opening channels of collaboration with the university to achieve further development."

    Dr. Al-Amiri referred to that the collaboration could contribute to improving higher education in Iraq, considering that University of Alkafeel could be a model for other universities in the country.

    At the end of the visit, the delegation thanked the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine for its continuous support for educational institutions in Iraq, indicating that this visit will be a starting point for future collaboration between University of Alkafeel and all international educational institutions.
