University Of Alkafeel
Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the activities of the University Poetry Festival, hosted by the University of Kufa, with the participation of (51) private and state universities, were launched on 17 February 2025.
The festival was attended by a number of academic figures, and opened with certain opening programs : reciting ayats from Glorious Quran the Holy Quran, standing to read Surat Al-Fatihah, reading the speech of the ministry , displaying a documentary film about the University of Kufa and , in addition to national artistic products .
University of Alkafeel participated in the competition with a team consisting of students : Muhammad Raed (College of Medicine) and Hussein Nasser (College of Pharmacy), under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Itimad Kamel Tawfiq Al-Najm, Director of the Student Activities Department at the university.
