The Holy Al-Abbas Shrine drew the curtain on  graduation ceremony for  girl- students from Iraqi universities ,the eighth batch of Daughters of Al-Kafeel, which was held at the Al-Ameed Educational Group, in the presence of prominent academic and official figures.

    The ceremony was held under the auspices of the Religious Al-Kafeel Schools for Women affiliated with Legal Custodian Office for  Women  Affairs at the Holy Shrine, under the slogan (From the Light of Fatima We Illuminate the World), for the academic year 2023/2024, with the participation of more than 4000 girl-students from various Iraqi governorates and Islamic countries. The ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, seid. Mustafa Murtadha Al-Dhia Al-Din, and his deputy, Mr. Abbas Musa Ahmed, in addition to a number of members of the Administration Board at Holy Shrine and its officials, presidents of a number of Iraqi universities and official and academic figures.

    The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciter Haider Al-Bazouni, then the Iraqi national anthem ,and the anthem of the Holy Abbas Shrine, the anthem of Alaba , pride, were played , and the Surat Al-Fatihah recitation was read in memory of the martyrs.

   The ceremony included a speech by His Eminence the Legal Custodian of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, Allama Seid. Ahmed Al-Safi (may Allah prolong his life ), then there was a chanting activity presented by a band from the "Baram Al-Kafeel Project", a speech by representatives of the participating universities, a documentary film about the graduation process of girl-students, speeches by representatives of the delegations and parents, and other segments.

   In this event, University of Alkafeel participated in an official delegation headed by Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, the Universitychancellor , accompanied by a number of deans of colleges, confirming the university support for the academic progress of girl students.

The chancellor of the University stressed that the participation of the Al-Kafeel University in this ceremony comes within the framework of its acumen to appreciate the scientific efforts of girl students, and to enhance the role of Iraqi women in the fields of education and knowledge, praising the distinguished academic level of the graduates.

    The ceremony concluded with honoring the families of martyrs and outstanding female graduates from Iraqi universities, in appreciation of their academic achievements, amid a distinctive festive atmosphere, reflecting the great support provided by Holy Al-AbbasShrine to the educational process in Iraq.
