The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the College of Medical and Health Technologies, organized a lecture : " Defining Drugs, Their Harms and Dangers to Individuals and Society", on Tuesday 3/4/2025, for second-year students - Department of Anesthesia Technology.
The lecture was presented by Asst. Lect. Ayat Thabet Rashid and Mentor . Jaafar Kadhim Hussein, and addressed the physical, psychological, security, economic and religious harms of drugs, in addition to the reasons for their use and ways to prevent them.
The spotlight was also shed on digital drugs and their danger to young people, with recommendations provided to protect children from this type of addiction.
At the end of the lecture, the floor was opened for discussion to answer the inquiries of the students , emphasizing the importance of continuous awareness to combat this dangerous scourge.
