The Department of Anesthesia Technology in College of Medical and Health Technology at University of Alkafeel organized a workshop : " Effects of Smoking on Health: Risks and Side Effects" on Monday, March 11, 2025.
The workshop, presented by Asst. Prof. Ahmed Hamoudi Yousef, aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of smoking and its negative effects on health, with a focus on cardiovascular diseases and cancer. Effective smoking cessation strategies were also presented.
The workshop motivated participants to seriously abstain from smoking, increased their awareness of the health risks associated with smoking, and promoted community cooperation to support individuals in taking steps toward a healthy lifestyle.
