To solidify the acts of the academic collaboration between the healthcare institutions, the Deanship of the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel , represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Samer Maki Al-Hakak, Dean of the College and Administrative Assistant, visited the Najaf Health Department on Saturday, March 15, 2025. They were received by Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghazali, Director General of the Najaf Health Department.
During the meeting, the prospects for mutual cooperation between the two sides were discussed, as well as the ways to develop training programs for medical students within healthcare institutions. This will contribute to raising the level of medical education and improving the quality of healthcare services. Both parties also emphasized the importance of providing an integrated training environment for students, supporting their practical skills and qualifying them to serve the community according to the latest medical standards.
Such a visit comes as part of the efforts the College of Medicine shows to strengthen partnerships between academic and healthcare institutions and work to achieve integration between medical education and healthcare services, contributing to the development of the health and education sectors in Iraq and serving the community.
