The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies, organized an educational event : "Social Control" on Wednesday 3/19/2025 and was presented by Asst.Lect. Ayat Thabet Rashid
The lecture aimed to shed light on the concept of social control and its importance in protecting society and preserving its values in addition to its role in reducing rebellion and deviation, especially among university students. The lecture also addressed the role of social control in determining social roles and organizing human behavior in the framework of laws, customs and societal traditions
The lecture also reviewed the types of social control, means and goals, stressing its active role in promoting social stability and ensuring peaceful coexistence in the academic society
This lecture reflects the efforts of Al -Kafil University to enhance social awareness among students and consolidate the positive values that contribute to building a parallel university environment.
