The Department of Computer Technology Engineering at the Faculty of Technical Engineering at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , organized a field visit to Dar Al-Riyahin for Cochlear Implantation, on Wednesday, 3/20/2025.

   This visit aims to enhance the human awareness among students by reviewing the services provided by the house, which contribute to improving the capabilities of the hearing for children in cultivating the cochlear, which helps them to integrate into society better. This visit also reveals the sense of the societal engagement in community activities and the connection of the academic aspect with the reality in the technical and medical fields.

    During the visit, the students listened to a detailed explanation about the mechanism of working medical devices used in the cultivation of cochlear and modern technologies that help children to develop their auditory capabilities. They also met the importance of these projects in improving the quality of the lives of children in need of these advanced medical services.

The participants in the visit expressed their appreciation for the great role played by the Dar Al -Riyahin in caring for children, stressing that this experience has strengthened the sense of social responsibility and the importance of employing technical knowledge in the service of humanity.

   This visit is a part of activities that the Faculty of Technical Engineering is keen to organize to develop the skills of the students , expand their scientific and practical perceptions, and consolidate the principles of collective and voluntary work in the service of society.
