Under the patronage of Alkafeel University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, the Student Activities Department continues to organize the five-a-side football championship, bringing together university faculty and administrative staff in a competitive sporting atmosphere.
The tournament, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, witnessed a strong match between the Information Department and the Security Department. The match ended in a draw after regular time, leading to penalty kicks, which the Information Department won, keeping its rank in the next round.
The Information Department team is scheduled to meet the Agriculture Department team next Friday in the semi-finals. The other match will be between the College of Dentistry and the College of Medical and Health Technologies to determine the team that will advance to the final.
It is worth noting that the tournament aims to enhance sportsmanship among university members and provide a competitive environment that contributes to building bridges of communication and cooperation between the participating teams.
