The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Iraqi Council for Institutional Accreditation in the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Apparatus , granted University of Alkafeel institutional accreditation for meeting quality and academic accreditation standards. This includes the criteria for the educational institution strategy, management, financial and material resources, faculty members, students, scientific research, community service, and academic curricula. This accreditation represents official recognition of the commitment of Alkafeel University to providing high-quality education, advancing the level of scientific research, and providing services to students and the community.

    The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research conducted a comprehensive evaluation of Alkafeel University through a visit by a national team of evaluators in February 2025. The evaluation included a review of academic programs, administrative structures, infrastructure, and research activities. The evaluation results showed the level of excellence achieved by the university in various fieldsand its ongoing commitment to achieving the highest standards of quality. The university achieved the highest ranking of  the institutional accreditation evaluation for private and universities.

    In this context, the President of Alkafeel University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammad Shaheed Al-Dahan, expressed his happiness and pride in this great achievement, emphasizing that this accreditation represents the culmination of the efforts of the university leadership, faculty members, staff, and dear students. His Excellency indicated that the university will continue its ongoing pursuit of academic excellence and the provision of innovative educational programs that meet the needs of the current stage and serve the community. The university presidency also laid emphasis on that this accreditation enhances therepute and the position of the university as a leading educational institution and contributes to opening new horizons for academic and research cooperation with international universities and scientific institutions. This achievement will be used as an incentive to continue improving the quality of education and promoting research and innovation activities.
