As part of the joint cooperation between University of Alkafeel and Al-Noor Institute for the Blind, the Department of Anesthesia Technology in the College of Medical and Health Technology, under the supervision of The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , organized a training workshop on "Principles of First Aid."

The workshop was held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Al-Noor Institute for the Blind, targeting the institute's staff, including teachers and employees. The objective of the activity was to enable administrative and teaching staff to acquire basic first aid skills, enabling them to effectively respond to emergency situations that students may encounter in the institute.

The workshop provided participants with the basic knowledge and practical skills necessary to enhance public safety and ensure a rapid and effective response in emergency situations, particularly when dealing with students with visual impairments.

The workshop contributed to raising the awareness of Al-Noor Institute staff of the basics of first aid and increasing their preparedness to respond to emergencies within the institute's environment. Participants responded positively to the workshop's content, reflecting the importance of these initiatives in supporting safety within educational institutions.
