College of Pharmacy at  University of Alkafeel  Celebrates Distinguished Students in Science Labs

In an atmosphere of pride and honor, the College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel organized a celebratory event to mark the end of the semester on Monday, April 7, 2025, to honor students who excelled in their practical performance in the science labs.

    The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, President of University of Alkafeel ; vice-chancellor Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali; and Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Saad Mashkoor Walid, a number of college deans, faculty members, and a group of students.

The organizers of the event expressed their happiness with the outstanding results achieved by the students during the semester. Their commitment to early attendance and discipline was noted, contributing to the regular start of practical lectures. Students also demonstrated high skills in the practical aspect, with 95% of them achieving advanced scores in individual tests. It is worth noting that this competition was held under the supervision of:

• Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Mayali, vice-dean for administrative affairs 

• Asst. Prof.Dr. Ahlam Hussein Al-Tufayli, lecturer at the College of Pharmacy

• Asst. Prof.Farah Abdul-Hussein Al-Sahlawi, lecturer at the College of Pharmacy

The creativity of the student was also evident in preparing scientific reports, which included scientific analyses outside the curriculum. This demonstrated a distinct academic awareness and fostered a spirit of cooperation in forming study groups that discussed the scientific content and distributed tasks effectively.

    The organizers emphasized that this experience contributed to strengthening discipline, reducing violations, and increasing positive interaction with practical learning, in line with the vision of the university and academic mission.

    At the conclusion of the event, outstanding students were honored in recognition of their efforts and considered role models for commitment and academic excellence.
