Under the patronage of Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shahid Al-Dahan, President of University of Alkafeel , the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel held the launch ceremony for the distinguished "REACT" project on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in the Sheikh Al-Mufid Hall. The event was attended by Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shahid Al-Dahan, President of the University, Asst.Prof.Dr. Dr. Samer Makki Al-Hakak, Dean of the College of Medicine, professors, , faculty members and students.

Attendees praised the importance of the student initiative, which aims to enhance the role of students in the educational process and their contribution to community activities and scientific research. This initiative is a step to strengthen the academic education and highlight the role of students as a key factor in developing the educational process on a global level.

In his speech during the event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Samer Makki Al-Hakak, Dean of the College of Medicine, said: "Today we witness the launch of a student initiative to activate the leadership role of students in the educational process, especially through extracurricular activities, which enhances the competencies required by the labor market. We invite all students to participate in this ambitious project, which represents a wonderful opportunity to develop their skills and enhance their capabilities in various fields."

Mohammed Asaad Mahdi, a third-year student in the College of Medicine, added, "The REACT initiative is an opportunity for us, as students, to activate our role in education and participate in making positive contributions to society."
