The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the College of Engineering Technology, organized an educational guidance lecture : "Drugs and Their Impact on Youth." The lecture was presented by educational Mentor. Kawthar Alawi Kamel on Monday, April 7, 2025, in the College of Engineering Technology Hall.
The lecture aimed to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and its impact on mental and physical health, highlighting the causes of drug abuse and ways to prevent it. The main focus falls on the most prominent symptoms of drug abuse and how to identify them, and the social and psychological factors that may drive youth to drug abuse and its negative impact on both the individual and society.
The lecture witnessed remarkable interaction from the students, who showed great interest in the topic and participated in the discussions that followed, reflecting their level of awareness of the importance of this topic and its seriousness for the youth.
