The Biology Department at the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel held a scientific meeting on Monday, April 7, 2025. The meeting was chaired by Asst. Prof.Dr.Samer Makki Al-Hakak, Dean of the College and Head of the Department, and attended by a select group of faculty members.
During the meeting, the status of teaching biology was discussed as one of the fundamental foundations of medical sciences. Participants addressed the most prominent challenges facing the educational process and put forward a set of development proposals to simplify the scientific concepts and raising students comprehension levels.
The attendees emphasized the importance of adopting modern teaching methods and approaches that contribute to enhancing understanding and improving the quality of academic performance, which will positively impact the outcomes of medical education at the college. This meeting is part of a series of periodic meetings held by the branch to develop curricula and raise the academic level of students in various medical specialties.
