University of Alkafeel  Participates in Study of Wooden Badge (Jungle Medal) for Scouts in Maysan

  Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Naeem Yasser Al-Aboudi, and His Excellency the Minister of Education, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, University of Alkafeel participated in the Study of the Wooden Badge (Jungle Medal), which was held at the Al-Amara Permanent Scout Camp in Maysan Governorate from April 11 to 15, 2025.

   This participation reflects the joint cooperation between the Ministry of Education/Iraqi Scout Association and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority/Student Activities Department to enhance the role of universities in supporting educational and scouting activities.

   Here ,Mr. Nabil Kamel Al-Yasiri from the Student Activities Department at University of Alkafeel explained that the event was held on the slogan: "Today's Leaders... Genuine Values... Promising Future," emphasizing that the participation shows the interest of the university to develop the student capabilities and supporting cadres working in the scouting field.

   Al-Yasiri noted that he was awarded the Flag of Excellence during the camp, a medal given to the best leader in scout camps in recognition of his outstanding efforts and active participation. The general supervisor of the study confirmed that this flag is awarded in recognition of leaders who demonstrate exceptional performance and outstanding leadership skills that contribute to achieving the goals of the Scout Movement.

The study aims to qualify and develop the skills of male and female leaders working in scout activities from the General Directorates of Education in all governorates and representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This is to instill educational values and foster a sense of leadership and responsibility among the younger generation.
