The Department of Agriculture at University of Alkafeel participated in the annual flower festival, which began at the Technical Institute in Najaf Governorate on Monday, April 14, 2025, and will continue for three days.
The festival activities included dazzling displays of seasonal and perennial flowers and green plants, with the participation of a large number of municipalities, nurseries, and agricultural exhibitions. The festival also included the opening of exhibitions dedicated to birds, bees, and honey products, as well as the participation of civil society organizations and students, giving the events a diverse and cultural character.
For his part, Asst.Prof.Ali Abdul Jalil Naji, Head of the Agriculture Division at University of Alkafeel , explained that this participation reflects the commitment of the university to strengthening its role in the community activities and contributing to spreading the culture of agriculture and environmental concern. The exhibition is an opportunity to exchange experiences and learn from the experiences of other entities in this field.
