As part of the academic activities of the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel , students, under the supervision of the Deanship of Medicine for Scientific Affairs and Asst. Prof. Dr. Taqa Adel, held a scientific discussion session entitled:
"Clinical Review into GI Pathologies."
The session was presented by three third-year students: Muhammad Asaad, Mustafa Maad, and Hussein Muhammad, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
The seminar addressed the clinical connection between all basic sciences related to gastrointestinal diseases. It highlighted the importance of applying theoretical knowledge to clinical practice in hospitals and health centers. The seminar emphasized the importance of promoting long-term learning through a series of continuing professional development activities and peer education, a qualitative leap within the REACT student project.
The seminar showed a distinguished attendance from students from the College of Medicine, and the seminar supervisor, Dr. Taqa Adel, a clinical pathologist, was thanked for her active and important role in facilitating and ensuring the quality of this scientific seminar. There were informative discussions between students and their professor on the most important topics in gastrointestinal diseases.
