Delegation from Ministry of Higher Education Observes University of Alkafeel

A delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by the Compliance Rules Committee, visited University of Alkafeel on Sunday, April 20, 2025. This visit is part of the ongoing efforts of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Department at the Ministry of Higher Education, which aims to support and develop the academic and scientific progress in Iraqi universities with the continuous supervision, observation and evaluation of their institutional performance. The delegation consisted of:

For their reception there was the chancellor of the university, Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan , with the vice-rector for academic affairs Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, deans and assistants.

In the visit, an official meeting was held with the University Presidency, deans of colleges, and department heads. The meeting reviewed the quality of institutional performance and mechanisms for implementing compliance rules across the university.

The delegation also conducted a comprehensive field tour of the university : colleges, academic and administrative departments, specialized centers ,classrooms, science laboratories, and a number of service facilities and infrastructure. The tour aimed to review performance and monitor approved procedures and activities, as well as the required standard percentages, in accordance with the Ministryinstructions.

At the end of the visit, the delegation members expressed their admiration and praise for the advanced level in the university, appreciating the efforts made to meet ministerial requirements and the universitycommitment to the academic and administrative standards adopted by higher education institutions.
