In line with the commitment of the University of Alkafeel to providing an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable campus environment that supports the academic progress of our dear students, the Department of Agriculture continues its efforts to plant seasonal winter and summer plants and perennial plants, which tint the university places with a touch of beauty and vitality. 

The decoration work included various university facilities, including classrooms, buildings, and gardens, using a wide variety of trees, and flowers, reflecting the desire of the university to develop the environmental aspects and urban planning on campus. The University of Alkafeel Nursery is distinguished by its diverse production of ornamental plants, housing more than 20,000 flowering plants, shrubs, and perennials, carefully cultivated and monitored to ensure their quality and optimal growth. These plants cover a variety of seasonal flowers and perennials, carefully selected to suit the local climate and add vibrant color to the university spaces.

In this context, Asst. Prof.Ali Abdul Jalil Naji, Head of the Agriculture Department at University of Alkafeel , explained that all these efforts are achieved with the university nursery, which contributes to meeting agricultural and ornamental needs year-round. He noted that the department takes aesthetic and environmental aspects into consideration in all its projects, contributing to the creation of a stimulating and attractive learning environment.

He added that after the plants have completed their growth and are carefully cared for in the nursery, they are transferred to the university gardens and areas , where they are planted with geometric and beauty designs that highlight the splendor of nature. He emphasized that these green spaces not only give visual beauty but also contribute to improving air quality and providing a comfortable and creative learning environment.
