Under the patronage of the University of Al-Kafeel chancellor , Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and with the continuous observation of the Head of Community Service at the University, Asst.Prof.Dr. Ali Ahmed Hussein Al-Mayali, vice-dean for administrative affairs, and in cooperation with the Educational Guidance Unit, faculty and staff from the College of Pharmacy organized two humanitarian visits to the Hekayati Center for Orphans and Needy Families on Saturday and Sunday, April 19 and 20, 2025.

The first visit covered the Hekayati Center for Orphans, as a college delegation provided in-kind assistance and basic necessities to the children, distributed gifts and clothing, and held a number of recreational and educational activities to support them psychologically and socially in a warm and loving atmosphere.

The second visit was to a number of needy families in Najaf Governorate, as the college delegation presented gifts and financial assistance, emphasizing the importance of supporting those in need and reinforcing the values of giving and community support.

   The families in question expressed their deep gratitude for this generous initiative, which reflects the high humanitarian spirit of the academic staff. The organizers of both events affirmed the commitment of the college to continuing these humanitarian activities, which contribute to developing a sense of social responsibility and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood among members of society.

At the conclusion of the two initiatives, the College of Pharmacy expressed its thanks and appreciation to the esteemed university presidency and all the entities supporting these efforts, emphasizing the importance of continuing this noble humanitarian approach that promotes ethical values and contributes to serving the local community.
