As part of a series of scientific activities organized by the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at the College of Medical and Health Technology at University of Alkafeel , a scientific workshop : "Global Warming and Its Impact on Microbial Diversity" was held , whose lecturer was Prof.Dr. Hussein Abdullah Al-Baka and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hamid Abdul-Hussein Al-Tamimi on April 19 and 21, 2025.
The workshop aimed to highlight the relationship between the variations and differences that occur as a result of the climate phenomenon known as global warming and its effects on microbial diversity in the environment.
The workshop addressed the quantitative and qualitative changes affecting microbial species found in nature as a result of environmental changes affecting the environment of these organisms. It also discussed the importance of maintaining a biological balance to ensure the continuity of vital activities in nature.
At the conclusion of the workshop, it was recommended that joint cooperation be fostered between scientific and community institutions to promote a culture of preserving the natural components of living organisms to ensure the preservation of biodiversity in our natural environments.
