As an unprecedented academic achievement, the College of Pharmacy at Alkafeel University garners full, unconditional programmatic accreditation for a period of five years, making it the first private college in Iraq to achieve this high academic achievement, and the second college in Iraq after the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad.

Since its establishment, the college strives to achieve the highest international quality standards through a clear vision and a genuine approach developed by the university presidency. No sooner does the announcement of the national standards for programmatic accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Colleges of Pharmacy in Iraqcome into effect , than the college sets the goal of obtaining this accreditation a top priority.

The college formed main and sub-committees that worked with dedication and determination under the supervision of the college deanship. Staff made continuous efforts to fulfill all accreditation requirements while committing to their other academic duties. On June 3, 2024, the college submitted its self-evaluation report and conformity report, becoming the first in Iraq to officially apply for programmatic accreditation.

The National Council dispatched a team of national assessment experts from several public universities to conduct a comprehensive five-day observation , covering academic, administrative, technical, and service aspects. The team expressed admiration for the  high standard of the college , commending its commitment to international standards and describing it as an academic model that meets the aspirations of higher education in Iraq.

In this context, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, President of Alkafeel University, stated: "The achievement of full programmatic accreditation of College of Pharmacy reflects the exceptional efforts made by the university to obtain academic excellence. This achievement is not only a tribute to the college work, but also a testament to the university commitment to the principles of quality and continuous improvement. We always strive to provide the highest level of education to our students, in line with international standards and enhancing the rank of Alkafeel University as a leading educational institution both locally and internationally. Thanks to these blessed efforts, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Kafeel University achieves full program accreditation, confirming its commitment to quality and sustainable development. This achievement is a testament to the college competence and ability to compete nationally and internationally.
