University Of Alkafeel
Under ambience of sorrow , University of Alkafeel commenced its preparations to welcome the month of Muharram, the month of great tragedy, as the university was wreathed with black in remembrance of the eternal tragedy of Karbala to invoke the principles of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
These preparations are part of a comprehensive plan prepared by the university : black flags and banners hoisting to show both grief and loyalty and to develop cultural and awareness programs that contribute to inculcating the values of the Husseini reformation in the hearts of students and the university community.
The university presidency emphasized that this step stems from the moral and doctrinal responsibility that University of Alkafeel bears as an academic institution that belongs to the spirit of authentic Islam and its values called for by Karbala battle : justice, freedom, and reform.
Commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) is an educational and cultural opportunity that germinates the values of altruism, patience, and steadfastness in the generations . Thus, Karbala remains a beacon illuminating the paths of awareness and dignity.
