University of Alkafeel Participates in International Course for Student Activities Directors in Russia

   Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, University of Alkafeel participated in the International Scientific Development Course for Directors of Student Activities Departments. The course was organized in cooperation between the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Apparatus - Student Activities Department and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University in Moscow from July 26 to August 2, 2025.
    Asst.Lect. Itimad Kamil Tawfiq, Director of the Student Activities Department at University of Alkafeel , represented the university as part of the delegation participating in the course, which showed the attendance of (45) participants from (38) Iraqi private and private universities.
   The program included theoretical and practical lectures, team formation, dialogue sessions, and field visits to a number of sports facilities in Moscow to exchange expertise and learning about international experiences in the field of student activities.
   In a special statement, Asst.Lect. Itimad Kamel Tawfiq confirmed that the participation of the Alkafeel University in this session was entirely supported by the university presidency, which is committed to developing the cadres of the student activities and giving them effective impact on building the personalities of the students and honing their skills.
    She added that this international program provided us with important opportunities to learn about international experiences and will contribute to transferring these experiences to our students and developing university programs and activities in line with modern standards.
   This participation falls within the vision of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to buttress and develop student activities and expand their horizons, contributing to the creation of an integrated university environment that enhances the capabilities of the students and fosters a spirit of creativity and teamwork.
   The session concluded with an official ceremony attended by government and parliamentary figures from both countries, as well as Olympic athletes and directors of sports and media institutions. Participants were honored and certificates of appreciation and participation were distributed, in the presence of the Iraqi ministerial delegation and the Director of the Student Activities Department at the Ministry.
