University of Alkafeel Council held its fourteenth session for the 2024-2025 academic year on 19 Tuesday August 2025, chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and attended by Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, vice-chancellor for academic affairs, college deans and assistants.
The session discussed several topics, most notably the final exam schedules for the second semester, with an emphasis on taking into account the circumstances of the students and avoiding repeating exams on the same day to ensure a fair and flexible academic environment. The meeting also addressed the development of academic and research plans for the colleges and the distribution of lessons for the next academic year. It also discussed the logistical needs of each college to make certain the development of the educational and research environment at the university.
In the session, the University President laid emphasis on these steps as part of the University Council commitment to enhancing the quality of education and raising the academic standard. Then Dr. Al-Dahan praised the efforts made by the colleges in preparing their plans in line with the university vision and mission to serve students.
