The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel organized an annual mourning session on Wednesday, 20 August 2025, to commemorate the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny ). The session was held at the College of Dentistry building and began with a recitation of ayats from Glorious Quran, brilliantly presented by Mr. Ali Al-Zubaidi from the Glorious Quran Institute , Holy Al-Abbas Shrine in Najaf. This recitation lent the session a spiritual atmosphere filled with tranquility and faith.
Then there was a valuable lecture delivered by His Eminence Sheikh. Jaafar Al-Waeli, who addressed important aspects of the life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny ) and its spiritual and educational messages, emphasizing the importance of emulating prophetic values in the lives of individuals and society.
In the session there were distinguished faculty and staff members and the attendees expressed their appreciation for the spiritual and scientific content of the session , emphasizing that such events promote human and ethical values within the university community.
