As part of its efforts to spread a culture of safety and prevention across campus, Lifelong Learning Center at University of Alkafeel , in collaboration with the Civil Defense Section , organized an awareness training course on Monday, August 25, 2025, "Civil Defense Basics." The course was presented by Eng. Hani Abdul Wahid, Head of Maintenance Section at the university .
The course targeted members of the Maintenance Section and the Information and Security Unit. It addressed key occupational safety concepts and methods for dealing with potential issues , as well as emergency response methods and preventative measures to protect individuals and property.
The university emphasized that these initiatives are part of its ongoing plans to enhance the efficiency of its staff and raise awareness of the importance of adhering to safety standards, which contributes to creating a safe and stable work environment for all employees and students.
