On Saturday, 6 September 2025, Lifelong Learning Center at Al-Kafeel University organized a theoretical and practical training course on elevator evacuation and maintenance in collaboration with the Engineering Projects Department, Elevator and Staircase Maintenance Section , at Holy Al-Abbas Shrine. The course aims to enhance the skills of maintenance section members and provide them with practical knowledge to operate elevators according to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
The course covered theoretical aspects related to proper operation mechanisms and emergency evacuation procedures with practical training on maintenance and troubleshooting of technical problems that might occur in elevator systems. This contributes to enhancing the efficiency of participants and achieving the highest safety standards.
The university presidency emphasized that this initiative falls within the framework of its commitment to qualifying its technical staff and developing their specialized skills. Such efforts will positively impact the level of services provided on campus and enhance a safe educational environment that supports the academic and research progress at the university.
