Under the patronage of the President of University of Alkafeel , Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, the University Presidency, Lifelong Learning Center , organized a Zoom workshop : "Towards Smart Learning Environment: Artificial Intelligence as Tool for Academic Empowerment" on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Hala Al-Moosawi from Oklahoma State University (OSU), addressed the latest trends in the use of artificial intelligence in higher education and its role in innovation and efficiency.
The workshop was attended by the University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and the voice-chancer for academic affairs , Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, the deans of colleges, assistants, and a number of affiliates.
The workshop emphasized the importance of keeping pace with digital transformations in university education and adopting smart strategies that contribute to raising the quality of academic and research outputs, thus strengthening the position of the University as a leading institution in education and sustainable development.
