University of Alkafeel  renewed its collaboration agreement with the Najaf Health Authority on Sunday, 21 September 2025, to strengthen the strategic partnership in academic, scientific, and training fields. This agreement comes as part of efforts to develop research and professional training programs and enhance scientific initiatives to serve students and the local community.

    The agreement was signed by Prof.Dr.Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan , President of University of Alkafeel , and Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Ghazali, Director General of the Najaf Health Authority. Both parties emphasized that this partnership represents a successful model of institutional cooperation and contributes to enhancing national capabilities.

    Prof.Dr.Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan  indicated that the agreement opens broad horizons for exchanging scientific and training expertise, supporting research and innovation projects, and developing academic and professional programs to keep pace with the latest international standards and enhance the quality of medical and health education.

    For his part, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghazali stressed that the agreement provides advanced training opportunities for healthcare specialists and students, and enhances the ability of both institutions to implement joint research programs. He stated that the goal is to improve the quality of medical services and reinforce human resources at the local and regional levels.
