The Dean of the College of Dentistry held a meeting with its students on Sunday, 21 September 2025, chaired by Asst.Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hassan Abdel-Shaheed, vice-dean for academic affairs, and attended by the heads of the various academic departments.

     The meeting began with a welcoming address by Dr. Mohammed, who encouraged the them to have a successful and productive start to the new academic year. There were a presentation of the  most significant achievements and future plans of the college  and a moment of guidance from the assistant deans and the head of the surgery department regarding academic and disciplinary matters . The importance of regular attendance, having the university uniform, and active participation in all academic and cultural activities within the college was emphasized.

    The meeting also focused on strengthening communication channels between the dean office and the students to address any academic or administrative challenges they may face. A discussion session was then held to address their inquiries to enable them to understand university regulations, clarifying their responsibilities, and fostering a sense of belonging to the university from the start of the academic year.

    Finally , an emphasis falls within the remit of regular attendance and academic discipline to encourage the student participation in academic and cultural activities and reinforce continuous communication between the dean office and academic departments to ensure an effective and organized learning environment, thus paving the way for a successful and productive academic year.
