The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at Alkafeel University organized two guidance lectures on Monday, 22 September 2023, at the College of Dentistry and the College of Technical Engineering.  The lectures, presented by Asst.Lect.Kawthar Kadhim Awda, were titled: "Psychological and Academic Preparation for New Academic Year" and "How to Start the Academic Year with Positive Energy."

     The aim of the lectures was to prepare students psychologically and academically for the start of their new academic year.  This was achieved by emphasizing the importance of creating a balanced learning environment that integrates psychological well-being with academic achievement, thus helping students face challenges with confidence and resilience, and achieve both academic and personal success.

    The lectures also covered practical guidance on time management and cultivating positive energy, in addition to building collaborative and respectful relationships in the university community and fostering a stimulating learning environment that promotes constructive interaction between students and faculty.

     The sessions showed significant student participation , their comments and questions, creating an atmosphere of constructive dialogue and positive interaction. The lectures concluded by emphasizing the importance of adopting a balanced academic lifestyle that integrates academic effort with mental well-being, contributing to a supportive and motivating university environment conducive to success and excellence.
