The interview committee for students applying to the "Study in Iraq" program, sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, began its procedures at University of Alkafeel this morning, Saturday, 27 September 2025.
The sessions, held via Zoom, included a series of interviews with students interested in enrolling in various scientific, medical, and engineering colleges at the university. This initiative aims to attract Arab and foreign talents and enable them to pursue their academic careers in Iraq. The committee emphasized that these interviews are to ensure that applicants meet the academic requirements and standards set by the ministry, as well as to select the most outstanding students who possess the necessary academic qualifications and skills, thus enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and contributing to higher education and fosters a multicultural academic environment.
Such a step is part of the "Study in Iraq" program, one of the key initiatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, aimed at expanding opportunities for international scientific collaboration and academic exchange, and reinforcing the position of Iraq as an educational leading destination at both the regional and international levels.
