University of Alkafeel continued examining and observing, by its interview committee, the applicants on Sunday, 28 September 2025, who wish to enroll in the 'Study in Iraq' program pertinent to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The committee conducted a series of interviews via the Zoom electronic platform with applicants for various medical, engineering, and scientific specialties offered by the university. This is part of the Ministry's efforts to attract Arab and foreign talent and provide an advanced educational environment in Iraq.
Committee members emphasized that the goal of these sessions is to verify the compliance of the applicants with approved academic requirements and standards. Furthermore, to ensure the students' effective integration into the university environment, the committee highlighted the availability of dedicated Language support classes and competency courses. These courses are designed to bridge any communication gaps and enhance the academic proficiency of international students in both Arabic and English.
These interviews—and the accompanying support programs—complement the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to implement the 'Study in Iraq' project, aiming to consolidate international scientific cooperation and establish Iraq as a leading academic destination in the region and the world.
