The University of Alkafeel  Council held its first session for the new academic year 2025-2026 on Wednesday, 1 October 2025, chaired by Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and attended by vice-chancellor for academic affairs , Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, and the deans and assistants of the colleges.

    The University President began the session with a speech of thanks and appreciation to the deans of the colleges for their efforts in preparing for the requirements of the new academic year and developing the necessary infrastructure to receive students, ensuring a solid academic start.

     Prof. Dr. Al-Dahan emphasized the importance of continuing to work as a team, calling for the development of the educational and research environment, reviewing the outcomes of the previous academic year, and coping with challenges to consolidate the principles of quality and academic integrity.

     The Council discussed the Ministry letter regarding the settling of student cases in assessment and general examinations. The University President emphasized the need to strictly implement the instructions to ensure the rights of students and maintain academic standards.

    The session concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuing to develop academic and administrative programs and to keep pace with the demands of the job market, we pray for all students and academic staff to have a successful academic year and academic achievements.
