As part of its scientific and community activities, the Deanship of the College of Medicine at Alkafeel University, under the supervision of the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Samer Makki Al-Hakkak , organized a scientific and community service visit to the main oncology center in Najaf Governorate. A number of third- and fourth-year students and some faculty members participated in the visit to observe the healthcare services provided to cancer patients and know the reality of work in specialized healthcare institutions.
The visit is much to enhance the practical and cognitive skills of the students and to provide psychological and moral support to patients through the distribution of gifts and direct human interaction with them, a gesture that reflects the human and professional values the college seeks to instill in its students. The Deanship of the College emphasized that these field visits contribute to familiarizing students with the real challenges in the healthcare sector and support their practical and human experience, which helps to prepare competent doctors capable of showing distinguished healthcare in the future.
