The College of Dentistry Council held its periodic meeting on Monday, 6 October 2025, chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Karim Maktouf Attia Al-Ghanim, and attended by the council members. The meeting covered important academic and administrative issues to support the position of both the college and the university at the academic and community levels.
The meeting focused on monitoring and organizing the educational process : monitoring classrooms, laboratories, and educational clinics . Such emphasizes the adherence to the student attendance and absence system and establishes clear mechanisms to ensure the smooth and effective conduct of classes.
The council also discussed developing the examination system to ensure fairness and efficiency, including the inclusion of Arabic language as a subject in the curriculum for the first and second years, and honoring top students and encouraging them to excel academically, thus fostering a spirit of positive competition.
The meeting concluded with several important recommendations : activating the media plan for the college activities, preparing a schedule to honor outstanding students, monitoring the regularity and flow of classes, and preparing a detailed proposal to develop the examination mechanism to ensure the quality of the educational process.
