The Attendance Committee in the Department of Anesthesia Technology held its regular meeting, chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Israa Abdul-Amir Falih, on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, at the department office . The meeting aimed to monitor student attendance records and standardize their recording mechanisms in accordance with approved university regulations.
The meeting included a detailed discussion of methods for tracking attendance and absence records in alignment with the ministerial directives to ensure accurate implementation of procedures. Individual cases requiring warnings or appropriate academic action were also reviewed.
During the session, practical proposals were drawn to enhance student attendance in theoretical and practical lectures. Moreover , schedules for documenting attendance were reviewed, contributing to the creation of a disciplined academic environment that motivates students to persevere and assume academic responsibility.
Certain tasks were also distributed among committee members to ensure the accuracy of work and prompt administrative follow-up. The committee emphasized the importance of continuous communication with faculty to regularly update records, enhancing the quality of academic performance in the Department of Anesthesia Technology within the College of Medical and Health Technology.
