On Wednesday, 8 October 2025, the Department of Psychological and Educational Counseling, in cooperation with the College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel , organized a guidance lecture for second-year students : "Tolerance and Acceptance of Others", by Asst. Lect. Haider Adnan Ghazi.
The lecture addressed the importance of tolerance and acceptance of others as the ability to forgive and overlook the mistakes of others and to be open to their traits , free from hatred and revenge. The lecturer explained that tolerance is key to human rights and democracy, promotes security and peace, and instills trust among members of society.
He also emphasized that accepting others, regardless of their religion, ideology, color, or language, reflects coexistence and integration, reduces intolerance and extremism, and encourages the spread of a culture of dialogue and respect in different places ; home, university, and community.
